It is only a safe human being who can humbly know their true nature. In this way, we can be in the world, whilst being of Love.

Belonging, community, connection and a healthy nervous system are crucial for our well-being. We gather to become more intimate with, and more available for our life.  For those who would like support in their journey, this is an affordable option.

These gatherings are sacred spaces where everyone is welcome. People going through their Dark Night of the Soul experiences, survivors of abuse, people who have had awakenings and want community, people struggling in their life in various ways, and/or people simply wanting connection along their journey are likely to find home in these gatherings.

Gatherings focus on practical and experiential exercises specifically designed for the development of self-awareness, self-love, safety and a healthy nervous system. Each gathering is organically shaped around attendees’ needs and wants. Each gathering includes a guided rest, time for questions and sharing, ways to heal the nervous system, and ways to engage in self-inquiry. Participation is always optional.

In this group we honor our experiences and we learn that we don’t have to pretend, or hide, or run. We gather together in a welcoming space where we are allowed to be exactly who we are, exactly as we are, and through slow, simple experiential practices we realize that profound safety can be found right here and now.

Safety is important. Our bodies, our spirits, and our psyches function with more well-being when safety is known from within.

We live in a culture that often disempowers and creates stress, a culture that conditions us to find our well-being in people, places, and superficial activities and things – without teaching us sustainable, empowering safety from the inside out. As such, we often don’t know how to cope with existing in an overwhelming world, or how to recover from traumatic experiences. Many of us have developed post-traumatic stress as a result, and have forgotten that safety is possible.

We can learn. By providing a safe environment for this deliberate purpose, we can slowly and gently learn what it’s like to feel safe.

We come together to find safety in our experiences and discover that we are safe – even when we have trauma or loud core stories and emotions.

All are welcome here regardless of political affiliation, sexual orientation, race, gender or background. You are important, and appreciated, whoever you are.

From past participants:

“Lisa is like a cocoon for expansion and love.  I really love working with her.  She walks her talk and creates a space for acceptance and non-judgment and I’m better able to accept and not judge myself and others.  My heart has opened in my work with her.  So grateful.”

“It is quite breathtaking to experience you working with a group; watching and listening to your communion with who-they-really-are. You have a gift, Lisa.”

“You represent what Adyashanti talks about:  “A safe place for the world to come and rest.” You are that safe, benign presence in the world.”

“I have listened to the recording many times since our gathering. It continues to support me.”

Join Scott Kiloby and Julianne Eanniello (Clinical Director of the Center) for a five day retreat on Awakening and Embodiment at the Kiloby Center for Recovery. This retreat promises to be one of a kind, as Scott and his team of facilitators will be offering individual sessions during the retreat, in addition to the effective group work that Scott is known for.  During this retreat, we will focus on stabilizing in present moment awareness (awakening) and then bringing that awareness down into the body to heal the trauma and other somatic issues that keep you oscillating between states of peace/freedom and suffering.

The Kiloby Center has developed an approach to healing that leads individuals step-by-step toward the ancient process of awakening, while incorporating evidence-based mindfulness tools to help us question the ego’s stickiest stories. This approach also guides us through a set of questions that truly unearth, honor, and dissolve the emotions that keep us seeking and suffering. During this retreat, you will learn all of those tools designed to help support in individual journey toward true freedom. You’ll also have plenty of time to talk to Scott and ask him questions.

Joining Scott on this retreat is Julianne Eanniello, co-owner of the Kiloby Center. Julianne was the lead trainer for Scott’s Living Inquiries Facilitator Training Program for 10 years.  Julianne has an amazing wealth of experience and wisdom in this work.  Several other certified facilitators of Scott’s work will be on hand to provide individual sessions.

The retreat will be held at the Kiloby Center located in Rancho Mirage, California, minutes away from Palm Springs.

Childhood Deepening Course with Fiona

Details

Dates – Saturday June 2nd, 16th, 23rd.
Time – 10:00am PT / 1:00 ET / 6:00pm UK / 7:00pm CET
Language(s) – English
Location – Online Zoom
Length – 2 hours x 3 group sessions plus 6 private sessions
Payment – $495
Contact – [email protected]    www.beyondourbeliefs.org

Let’s go back to where and when it all began. It often seems that our childhood defined who and how we are as adults. Whether we remember it as an idyllic time we long to go back to, or a nightmarish, painful time we’ve long tried to escape from, our childhood is pivotal to our idea of ourselves.

In Living Inquiry sessions, we inevitably come back to our childhood in some way; seeing images or memories, feeling long-buried or deeply familiar feelings, and uncovering the beliefs that we’ve lived by since our youngest days. In this Deepening Course, we’ll explore this thing that we call childhood in even more detail. Was it really how we’ve believed it to be? Are we destined to be defined by it forever? Who and how did it define us, exactly? Can we come to terms with it, or even feel peace around it?

Working in a small, intimate group, we’ll share and inquire in three two-hour group meetings. Each participant will also have four individual sessions with me, and two other sessions with certified facilitators (making a total of six sessions). We’ll also have a private Facebook group in which you can share, ask questions, and get support.

The full cost of this course is $495 which can be paid in instalments. We’ll also have email contact throughout the course and a private FB room if participants would like to share more often.

To register, please email me at [email protected] or send me a private message on FB.
